What is the cycle of custom sculpture?

First of all, we need to get the sculpture you want from the reference picture and size.

We will carry out 3D modeling based on the floor plan provided by the customer. This cycle usually takes 2-3 days.

The higher the degree of restoration of the 3D model, the higher the degree of restoration of the sculpture.

After making the 3D model, because the size of the 3D printer is limited, we need to disassemble the 3D model into part sizes and import it into the printer for printing.

Generally, it takes two machines and about 28 hours to print a 1.5-meter-high sculpture. Our factory has 50 SLA 3D printers, and we can print it after disassembling the model.

After printing is completed, we get many parts of the sculpture.

Put them all together manually

The assembly process usually takes 2-3 days.

Next, we will repair and polish the assembled sculpture blank in detail.

Polishing until there are no flaws on the surface requires repeated repairs and polishing, and this process takes 3-4 days

After the repair is completed, we can proceed to the coloring process.

Mix different colors of paint and paint it. The more colors, the longer it takes. We use car paint, which will not fade outdoors and can be used for a long time. This cycle usually takes 2-3 days.

After the color is done, we need to apply another layer of topcoat on the surface to protect the paint surface from fading. The protective paint has two types: matte and high gloss effects.

In this way, one of our sculptures is completed. Generally, it takes 12-13 days from designing a 3D model to the finished sculpture. In addition to the order placement, the production cycle usually takes 15-20 days.
